Reduced Fat Cream Cheese Brownies

We had these brownies for supper tonight, and they are super yummy. Skipping the vegetable oil, and substiting applesauce, makes them a little healthier than most brownies.

1  Package brownie mix
1/3 c Applesauce
2 tablespoons Water
1 (8 ounce) Reduced fat package cream cheese
2 Eggs divided
1/3 cup white sugar

1.Preheat oven to 325. Grease a 9x13 " inch pan. Mix brownie mix, 1 egg, applesauce, and water. Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan.

2.Using an electric mixer, beat together the cream cheese, 1 egg, and sugar until smooth. Dollop the cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter. Swirl together using a knife.

3.Bake for 30-35 minutes. Brownies will be done when a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in the pan, then cut into bars and serve.
